Bushcraft and Survival is a broad term for the skill-set used to live in the wilderness using traditional and improvised tools and available natural materials.
The 2-Day Field Course we offer is designed to pack as much instruction, challenge, and field experience as we can into a weekend camp.
A 2 Day Bushcraft Course covering bushcraft subjects suitable for all bushcraft enthusiasts wanting to further develop their bushcraft knowledge and skills as long as you are over 18 years of age you shouldn't have a problem. We excel in your education and learning while on the course devising, organising, delivering and managing learning experiences for schools*, young person services and adults, in fact everyone that comes along leaves with a understanding of the great outdoors and they go out and on to their next adventure with a basic knowledge but most of all, a new group of like minded friends.One or Two nights wild camping in different locations so you get to build confidence making and breaking camp and LNT. A fun, sociable, solo-friendly group to adventure with.... and please remember, we have a detailed Pre-Adventure How To Guide, including guidance on what to bring with you and how to manage weight of your pack so you don't over-pack.
This 2-day training course is practical and relevant for anyone who has an interest in Bushcraft, Hiking, Camping and basic skills needed to Survive. It is also beneficial to instructors, leaders and teachers working in all areas of; outdoor learning, education, personal or professional development, outdoor therapy, expeditions, etc. It is also a great course to develop your own bushcraft skills and knowledge.
Accommodation
If you plan to camp with us overnight during your course, then you will need to bring all of your associated camping equipment yourself. Such as; tent/shelter/tarp/hammock etc, sleeping gear, cooking kit, eating kit & utensils, food, wash-kit, toiletries, towel, spare clothing etc. If you do wish to camp then please let us know via email beforehand. Drinking water is provided onsite for you to use. Please be advised that this is a private woodland-camping location but there are no toilets and showering/washing facilities, it is a wild-camping site and all waste MUST be removed from the site. Or you can stay at your own costing and expense near by and join us for the day usually 08:30hrs to 16:30hrs at camp.

We are trained, experienced and uphold the values and behavior that help others adventure in their environment, gain skills and make a positive difference for our world.
Professionals in outdoor learning may volunteer, work full-time or part-role to positively impact areas such as sports participation, outdoor education, youth development, well-being, workforce training or adventure tourism.
As professionals in Outdoor Learning we have responsibility for shaping effective outdoor learning by exercising autonomy and judgement within medium / long term parameters. We have a minimum of at least five years' experience in outdoor learning (including at least two years in a position of responsibility) plus degree level learning.
